Mum / Dad social catch-ups
Throughout the year we schedule a number of mum / dad social catch-ups. Some of them are a great opportunity to catch up without the kids and enjoy some uninterrupted conversation. Others are are specifically kid-friendly and venues chosen accordingly so you can still relax whilst the kids play.
Masterclasses
We schedule a number of masterclasses throughout the year covering key parenting topics such as sleep, toilet training, fussy eaters and much, much more. Our masterclasses are run by a variety of professionals, providing parents with invaluable insight on key topics.
Family Fun Day
In 2021 we brought back the Family Fun Day at Trevena Glen Farm. It was a fantastic day out for all of our member families – pony rides, tractor rides, chickens, guinea pigs, pigs, jumping castle and so much more!
Clothes and Toy Swaps
It takes a lot of clothes to dress a family with multiples! This is definitely one of our most popular events, and enables our members to donate clothing and toys they no longer need, and stock up on the ones they do! Our members shop the event for FREE, taking as much or as little as their family needs at the time. We’ve also expanded our offering to include a separate toy and book swap – perfect for all ages!
Train Days
Another one of our extremely popular events, BMBAN is granted exclusive access to a model train facility covering 5 acres of landscaped property on Brisbane’s Northside, with over 2,000 metres of tracks. There are tunnels and bridges, as well as a round-house and a resident koala in the eucalyptus trees above the tracks. This is a firm family favourite among our members and always sells out quickly!
End of Year Celebrations
The end of year brings with it a great opportunity for our member families to get together and celebrate the amazing work they have done over the past year. Our annual celebrations are widely promoted through our social media channels to our member families.
