Supporting parents of multiples on Brisbane’s Northside since 1977
BMBAN is a registered non-profit organisation run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteer multiples parents.
Our member families live within the boundaries of the Brisbane River in the South, Glasshouse Mountains in the North, Bribie Island / Redcliffe to the East, and Kilcoy to the West.
The greatest benefit of joining BMBAN is the moral support and encouragement we offer to new and expectant parents of multiples. There are many opportunities to socialise with other people who have been, or are going through, the same experience that you are. At any one time, our member families can be up to 250, along with all of their beautiful multiples, and other siblings.
Our Committee is working hard to support all of our members at the current time, particularly with restrictions pertinent to the current COVID-19 situation. We are expanding our virtual offerings and helping keep our members connected, whilst adapting our social events and playgroups in order to comply with relevant restrictions.
Meet the Team
Tiffany Visser – President
Tiffany has been a member of BMBAN since 2016. During that time, she has provided an enormous amount of support to our members, through both her formal committee roles, and also her time and efforts in preparing and planning Club events.
Tiffany has also been a passionate and enthusiastic Expectant Parent Night Coordinator, imparting invaluable knowledge and insights for expectant parents. She is a well-loved member of BMBAN and a constant ‘go to’ person for help and support.
Tiffany has beautiful twin boys keeping her on her toes at home and is excited to be taking over the President role from 2021. Tiffany’s enthusiasm for the role is palpable and we are excited to see her plans come to life in the future.
Amy Lucas – Vice President
Amy has been a member of BMBAN since 2019, joining during her twin pregnancy. From early 2020 Amy stepped into an Executive role as Secretary, and also tackled the challenges of the newly-created Marketing Coordinator role. During that time, Amy has made great efforts in coordinating the Club’s marketing strategy and spreading our message of support to members and the general public.
Amy has an excitable young household, including her son George, and fraternal twin girls, Ava and Mya.
Amy is excited to be taking on the Vice President role in 2021, and is continuing to fulfill our Marketing Coordinator role, further expanding our marketing strategy.
